Big Rusty

Big Rusty Dambo, created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, is an outdoor sculpture made from 100 square meters of rusty metal roof, a plywood attic, different electrical equipment, a concrete wall, and wood. I had been antsy to photograph this giant troll for months and finally had the opportunity to travel to Hainesport, New Jersey with my nephew, Jack. Walking up to the structure, there is no doubt Big Rusty is impressive. However, I found myself drawn to the surrounding dilapidated graffiti covered structures. Before we knew it, we had spent close to three hours snapping shots around Big Rusty.
